Mission Leadership Team
Our STJOHNS@TEN family is led by our Mission Leadership Team who are responsible for seeking God's vision and mission for us and for making sure that everyone is equipped to play their part. The team currently comprises:-
Mark Sheard has been a member of St John's for over 30 years and has served in a variety of roles. Currently he leads the Mission Leadership Team. He is married to Lois and has 4 children (and 2 dogs!)
Peter Mackenzie describes himself as a growing disciple of Jesus. He is married to Ruth and with two lovely daughters he is 'blessed among women'. He has been ordained since 1995 and has served as vicar of the Parish of St John with St James since May 2008.
Val Lechler is a mother and grandmother, and a long standing member of St John's. She co-leads a Growth Group and our Pastoral Care Team and us a member of our Prayer Ministry Team. During the week Val works part-time from home as a counsellor.
Marion Taylor has been coming to St John's for about 26 years. She is married to Steve and has 2 children, Laura and Marcus who are 22 and 18. At St John's she has been involved in a variety of things over the years, but currently coordinates our Buzz Groups. In the week Marion helps in our Snips parent and toddler group on a Tuesday and works part-time as an Occupational Therapist.
Amy Hanna has been attending St John's since 2012 and has recently married James. She is a leader of our 20'30's ministry and during the week is Head of English at ARK Academy in Wembley.
Hilary Croft has been coming to St John’s since 2000. She is married to Richard and they have 6 children from age 11 to 26. She works full time in Marketing. At St John’s she has fulfilled a number of roles in different ministries - Soup Kitchen; Alpha; Worship; Home Groups; Buzz Groups; PCC. More recently she is trying her hand at preaching!
